About
Ellis Bowen
Founder of C.O.R.E. Foundation. Former NCAA athlete. High energy, motivational but intense — and straightforward enough to tell you the truth about your training.

Why I coach
“I was a former NCAA athlete and during my time I realize I would always outperform any athlete when it came to athletic ability (assessments). I realized my own personal training over the years allowed my to be more skillful than most athletes in my class. That’s when I knew I wanted to pass on the knowledge and the ability of achieving a level of athletic excellence to others.”

Built on Purpose
I train the whole athlete because you only get one body, and it was given to you. How you feed it, rest it and push it is stewardship, not vanity. That is the standard I hold my athletes to, and it is why the work here is physical and, most importantly, mental. Discipline is respect — for the gift, and for the level you say you want.
Day to day that means I lead by example. I do not hesitate to give constructive feedback, because soft feedback keeps athletes exactly where they are. You will be pushed, you will be told the truth, and you will know the plan behind every session.

Who I work with
Men 16 to 26: athletes chasing the next level, total beginners who have never been coached properly, and athletes coming back from injury who need their body and their confidence rebuilt at the same time. High school, college, pro — the target changes, the standard does not.
