Nutrition

Fuel the work.

Most athletes I meet are not overtraining. They are under-eating. Run your numbers here, then eat like the athlete you say you want to be.

Fill in your numbers above to see your daily targets.

Is this enough food for a training athlete?

The calculator gives you a starting point from your size, age and activity. If you are training hard five or six days a week and your weight is dropping when it should not be, you are under-fuelling — eat more and re-check in two weeks.

Do I eat differently in season?

Yes. In season the job is holding speed, power and body weight through games, so intake stays steady and carbs sit around training and game days. Off season is where we push a surplus or a controlled cut depending on your sport.

Do I need supplements to hit these numbers?

No. Food first, every time. Most athletes I meet do not have a supplement problem, they have a breakfast problem. Get the real meals in and we can talk about anything else later.
